MY STORY

I am an adventure photographer and videographer from Bergen, constantly traveling around in Norway showcasing the nature and landscape of this beautiful country. My biggest passion is to inspire and motivate people to get out in nature and experience Norway.

I bought my first camera in 2008, when I attended Høgtun Folkehøgskole. One year out in nature, learning a lot about my self and others. Maybe the most important year of my life.

In 2010 I started my masters degree in underwater engineering at HVL and NTNU, and I also met my finance Henrikke. When I graduated in 2015 there where no jobs available due to the oil crisis, and I was forced to find something else to earn a living. Kind of a bummer after 5 years of education. - But in retrospect it was a blessing in disguise, as it guided me towards the path I am on today.

I worked for two years as a full time freelance photographer, struggling to make a living. In hope to get more traffic and clients, I created the Trails Of Norway blog together with my fiancée, learning a lot about writing, web design and marketing.

Based on the skills I acquired when creating and running my own blog and social media accounts, I was hired by Synlighet, one of Norway's biggest marketing firms. There I learned a lot about how to run big marketing campaigns, as well as working with clients and their need for content that fits the modern day consumer habits.

It was nice having a full time job, but I felt that I wasn't able to travel and create as much as I wanted. I started daydreaming and exploring an idea that I'd had for several years, about sailing and diving the entire Norwegian coastline and making a documentary about it. I sent my proposal to NRK (Norway's national broadcaster), and to my huge excitement they loved the idea! As a result, I am currently moving to live aboard a sailboat for 15 months, while producing and directing an upcoming adventure documentary series, which will be shown at NRK during the autumn of 2020.
